Abdullah began his career as a commercial lawyer at a “Legal 500” firm and a “Times Top 100” firm based in London, where he gained invaluable expertise. His broad experience enables him to provide legal advice to clients across multiple areas of law and jurisdictions.

He has built a reputation for navigating high-stakes matters with precision, discretion, and strategic depth. His approach combines legal acumen with business intelligence to enable clients to act decisively and with confidence.

His recent experience includes:

• Acting in a High Court claim valued at over £4 million concerning unjust enrichment, account of profits, conspiracy, and breach of directors’ duties.

• Advising companies on governance, including drafting bespoke articles of association, shareholders’ agreements, and ensuring compliance with the Companies Act 2006.

• Advising shareholders on drag-along, tag-along, and pre-emption rights, as well as directors’ duties.

• Representing clients in disputes relating to breaches of contracts, loan agreements, and guarantees.

• Negotiating and reviewing commercial contracts for corporates to mitigate risk and align with business objectives.
